I’ve proudly called Richmond home for 39 years. After my family moved here from Port Alberni when I was just 18 months old, I grew up in this community, attending Richmond schools from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Today, my wife and I are proud to be raising our two young children here, giving them the same opportunities and sense of belonging that shaped my own life.

I work as a Youth Support Worker at McNair Secondary in the Integrated Academics Program, where I have the privilege of supporting students every day. For the past 10 years, I have also served as the Coordinator of the Richmond Youth Basketball League, helping thousands of young people discover the joy of sport, build confidence, and create lasting friendships through grassroots basketball.

Richmond has given me so much throughout my life. Through my work with youth, my involvement in sports and recreation, and the relationships I’ve built over nearly four decades, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with people from every corner of our city. Those experiences have strengthened my commitment to giving back and helping Richmond continue to thrive.
